Census Bureau: 78.9 percent of people in Pima County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 1,027,207 citizens living in Pima County in 2019, 810,074 were old enough to vote as of Feb. 11, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 415,118 of those people were female and 394,956 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2020 will be released later this year.
