Cochise County issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
The Sierra Vista Justice Court lobby been closed effective August 27, 2021 to Tuesday, August 31, 2021, due to COVID-19 protocols. While our lobby remains closed, the court remains open for services via telephone or by email. You may contact the court at (520) 803-3800 or svjc@courts.az.gov.
If you require a Protective Order and/or Injunction Against Harassment, please go to the Sierra Vista Superior Court, located across the complex. All other matters pertaining specifically to the Sierra Vista Justice Court, you will need to contact the court directly.
Any scheduled court hearings during the duration of the closure will be vacated and rescheduled. Please contact your attorney, for further information. Hearings currently scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 proceed with limited access. Entry only be for the individual attending court and their attorney. All other access will remain restricted.
