Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center shifts schedule next week

Petgrooming

City of Sierra Vista issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.

The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, and will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 30.

The shelter is typically open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. The shift in schedule next week is required due to limited staffing availability on Saturday, Oct. 30.

A wide variety of dogs and cats are currently available for adoption at the shelter. Dogs are also still available for a reduced adoption fee of $50, instead of $75, while cat adoptions remain $50 as usual. The adoption fee includes sterilization, the first set of vaccinations, a complete physical exam, a City dog license, and a microchip implant at no additional charge.

The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center is located at 6799 E. Highway 90. For more information, call the shelter at (520) 458-4151.
