The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on State Route 260 east of Star Valley from Monday, June 20, through Friday, Aug. 5, while paving is underway. The restrictions are scheduled daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. No weekend work is scheduled.
Motorist should expect delays while the following restrictions are in place:
- SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction for travel between Forest Service Road 284 and Old Rim Road (mileposts 272 - 283). The lanes will be restricted in 3-mile increments while the paving is underway.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph
- A 14-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place. Wider loads can be accommodated with 12-hours notice
