Moving Forward SVF&MS offers secure lockbox program

Sierra Vista Fire & Medical Services has partnered with the West and SouthEast REALTORS of the Valley (WeSERV) to offer Sierra Vista residents a Secure Lockbox Program.

Delivered by WeSERV this week, the lockboxes are available at no cost and will allow emergency services personnel to access a home in emergency situations where forced entry may be necessary. They are primarily intended for residents who live alone and have a heightened chance of needing emergency care due to age or a medical condition.

WeSERV receives donations from its members to fund the lockbox program. Sierra Vista is the first community in Cochise County to adopt the program.

Once installed, the lockbox can only be used by emergency services personnel in the event emergency help may be needed. Emergency services personnel includes law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel.
